TASTE sweet spice, round body, buttery finish
RECOMMENDED BREW METHOD
In Papua New Guinea, many coffee growing areas are so remote that something as simple as a pulper is an unaffordable luxury. This illustrates the enormous amount of effort that is put into every bean. Cherry is pulped by hand: carefully rolling a stone over the cherry. Plenty of hands are needed to remove the beans one by one!
All smallholder coffee growers produce coffee alongside their main priority: food gardening to provide for the family needs. Intercropping a variety of fruits and vegetables in coffee plots is common practice. Small surpluses are sold at roadside markets.
